Development of stronger university-industry collaboration is both a priority of government research policy and a strategic driver for universities. Our solution VIPR Connect, together with this website aims to provide information, data and resources to assist universities develop strong industry linkages.
Our initial industry profiling database contains financial data and information on the strategic interests of over 2000 thousand Australasian companies and will grow to 5000 thousand over 2019. The uniqueness of this information is that it is coded by Field of research code (4 digit level) enabling easy linkages to university research capability.
This information is supplemented by our blog site containing contemporary news from around the world on university-industry collaboration – news, reports, programs. A series of planned white papers will complement these resources examining trends and promoting good practice in Australian university-industry collaboration.
